Welcome to Better Job Club ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a DBA of Peritus Designs, LLC. By accessing our website, purchasing our services, participating in our programs, or joining our membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or purchasing any products or services offered by Better Job Club, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

2. Services Provided

Better Job Club provides career coaching, educational resources, memberships, digital products, and related services designed to support individuals in their career development and job search efforts.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Career Clarity Intensive

  • Career Reset Program

  • Better Job Club Membership

  • Career assessments and evaluations

  • Resume and cover letter support

  • Interview preparation

  • Educational workshops and trainings

  • Digital resources and downloadable materials

  • AI-assisted career support tools

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or update our services at any time without prior notice.

3. No Employment Guarantee

Better Job Club provides educational and coaching services only.

We do not guarantee:

  • Employment or job placement

  • Interviews or interview invitations

  • Salary increases

  • Promotions

  • Career advancement opportunities

  • Specific employment outcomes

  • Business or financial success

Career outcomes depend on numerous factors outside of our control, including individual effort, market conditions, employer decisions, qualifications, experience, and economic conditions.

You acknowledge that your success depends primarily on your own actions and decisions.

4. Educational Purpose Only

The information, coaching, materials, and resources provided by Better Job Club are intended for educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing provided through our services constitutes:

  • Legal advice

  • Financial advice

  • Tax advice

  • Mental health counseling

  • Licensed professional counseling

  • Employment law advice

You should consult qualified professionals regarding matters specific to your individual circumstances.

5. Artificial Intelligence Disclosure

Better Job Club may utilize artificial intelligence tools to assist with service delivery, including but not limited to:

  • Resume reviews

  • Cover letter development

  • Career assessments

  • Interview preparation

  • Career recommendations

  • Educational content generation

AI-generated information is intended to supplement, not replace, professional judgment.

While we review AI-assisted outputs, we do not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated recommendations.

Users remain solely responsible for evaluating and implementing career-related decisions.

6. Payment Terms

All fees are listed in U.S. Dollars and are due at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers including, but not limited to:

  • Stripe

  • PayPal

  • Square

  • Klarna

  • Affirm

  • Afterpay

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or termination of access to services.

7. No Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products and services, all sales are final.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Coaching services

  • Digital products

  • Downloadable resources

  • Membership fees

  • Workshops

  • Programs

  • Courses

  • AI-assisted services

If a payment plan is offered, you remain responsible for completing all scheduled payments regardless of participation, usage, satisfaction, or results obtained.

Exceptions may be made solely at the discretion of Better Job Club.

8. Membership Terms

Membership subscriptions automatically renew according to the selected billing cycle unless canceled by the member.

Members may cancel at any time prior to their next billing date to prevent future charges.

Cancellation of membership:

  • Stops future recurring payments

  • Does not result in refunds for previous payments

  • Does not provide prorated refunds for unused time remaining in the current billing cycle

Better Job Club reserves the right to modify membership offerings, pricing, features, or benefits upon reasonable notice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership access for violations of these Terms.

9. Scheduling, Cancellation, and Rescheduling

For coaching sessions and appointments:

  • Clients are responsible for attending scheduled appointments.

  • Requests to reschedule should be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited without refund.

  • Better Job Club reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided by Better Job Club is protected by intellectual property laws.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Course materials

  • Worksheets

  • Templates

  • Assessments

  • Videos

  • Membership content

  • Program materials

  • Website content

  • Graphics

  • Branding

  • Logos

  • Educational resources

Purchasing access to our services grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal use only.

You may not:

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Share

  • Republish

  • Sell

  • License

  • Modify

  • Create derivative works from our materials

without prior written permission.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for unlawful purposes

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others within our community

  • Share confidential information of other members

  • Violate intellectual property rights

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts

  • Interfere with the operation of our services

Violation of these provisions may result in immediate termination of access without refund.

12. User-Generated Content and Testimonials

If you voluntarily submit testimonials, reviews, comments, feedback, success stories, photos, videos, or other content to Better Job Club, you grant Better Job Club a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, display, and promote such content for marketing, advertising, educational, and business purposes.

By submitting such content, you represent that:

  • You own or control the rights to the content submitted;

  • The content does not violate the rights of any third party; and

  • You have the authority to grant this license.

If you request removal of future use of submitted content, Better Job Club will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests; however, materials already published or distributed may not be retractable.

13. Confidentiality

Better Job Club values client confidentiality and will use reasonable efforts to maintain the privacy of information shared during coaching engagements.

However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in circumstances involving:

  • Legal obligations to disclose information;

  • Threats of harm to self or others;

  • Suspected abuse or illegal activities; or

  • Information voluntarily shared in group settings, memberships, or community discussions.

Participants in group programs and memberships are expected to respect the confidentiality of fellow members.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Job Club, Peritus Designs, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to:

  • Use of our website;

  • Participation in our programs;

  • Career decisions made by users;

  • Employment outcomes;

  • AI-generated recommendations;

  • Membership participation; or

  • Inability to access our services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Better Job Club, Peritus Designs, LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our services;

  • Your violation of these Terms; or

  • Your infringement of the rights of any third party.

16. Third-Party Services

Our website and services may integrate with or link to third-party platforms and providers.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, practices, or availability of third-party services.

Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

17. Modifications to Terms

Continued use of our services following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Missouri.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
